An abandoned vehicle with explosive material was found near the home of business tycoon Mukesh Ambani in Mumbai on Thursday, Maharashtra Interior Minister Anil Deshmukh said in a bomb scare just meters from where India’s richest man lives. under high security.

According to law enforcement sources, a suspicious vehicle was found on Carmichael Road Thursday night. The police were alerted and a bomb detection and disposal squad or a team of BDDS and other police teams arrived at the scene immediately.
“They examined the vehicle and found 20 rods of explosive gelatin inside. It is not an assembled explosive device. Further investigations are under way,” police sources said. They added that the car was parked in the area around 1 a.m. last night, according to CCTV footage.
Security has been increased in the area and senior Mumbai police officers examined the site.
