Vedanta: Major miner Vedanta Limited emerged as the highest bidder for the Radhikapur West coal block, located in Angul district, Odisha, at a distance of about 190 km from the Company’s Jharsuguda Aluminum Smelter.
JSPL: Jindal Power has been declared the winner of a block at the Gare Palma coal mine in Chhattisgarh.
IDBI Bank: IDBI Bank, controlled by LIC, sold 23% of its stake in a life insurance company to foreign partner Ageas to ₹507 crore. With this transaction, the Belgian partner’s stake in IDBI Federal Life Insurance Co Ltd (IFLI) has increased to 49%, the upper limit of foreign direct investment prescribed by law.
Infibeam Avenues: The company has ceded its 100% ownership with control of its subsidiary Cardpay Technologies Private Limited to its subsidiary Instant Global Paytech Private.
Mahindra and Mahindra: The company called its automotive joint venture with Ford Motor Company, it said in a regulatory filing.
DHFL: 63 Moons Technologies, formerly Financial Technologies, said Thursday that it has moved the National Company Law Court (NCLT) to ensure that DHFL’s recovery benefits all creditors, including NCD holders. The company holds ₹Rs 200 crore NCD (non-convertible bonds) of the disabled mortgage player.
Jubilant Foodworks: Jubilant Foodworks Ltd (JFL), which operates fast food chains Domino’s Pizza and Dunkin ‘Donuts in India, will invest ₹Rs 92 million in Barbeque-Nation Hospitality Ltd (BNHL) for a 10.76% equity stake.
Future companies: Future Enterprises, a Future group company led by Kishore Biyani, said its CEO and CFO Dinesh Maheshwari resigned from the company.
Canara Bank: State-owned Canara Bank has raised ₹1,635 million rupees through bonds, to finance business growth. The capital was raised by issuing additional Tier 1 bonds with a coupon of 8.50 percent on December 31, the bank said in a statement.
Antony Waste Handling Cell: The stock will make its debut on the market today. His IPO was subscribed 15 times in total.
