US President Donald Trump and his Democratic rival, former Vice President Joe Biden, met on Thursday (local time) for their final debate before the presidential elections that are scheduled for November 3.

Originally, this debate, which takes place in Nashville, was to be the third and final debate this election season. However, the second actual debate, which would take place in Miami on October 15, had to be canceled, meaning that the Nashville debate will be the second time that Trump and Biden have met.
The Miami presidential debate was canceled after the debate committee failed to back down in its decision to hold it practically after Trump tested positive for coronavirus on October 2.
The Trump camp, and the president himself, had strongly opposed the commission’s decision to hold the debate virtually, rather than in person, as, according to them, the format favored Biden.
Meanwhile, the first debate took place in Cleveland, Ohio, on September 29.
