Silicon Valley leaders and global technology CEOs took to social media to congratulate President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris on their election victories. Biden, who will become the 46th president of the United States of America, and Kamala Harris, of Indian descent, have already updated their Twitter profiles to reflect their victory. Harris, in fact, made history by becoming the first female, black and Indian-American vice president of the United States, and was chosen by Biden as his running mate in August. Biden tweeting his victory said:
Best wishes started pouring in on social media, after Biden and Harris were declared victorious, for who’s who in business.
I look forward to working with the new administration and leaders from both sides in Congress to control the growing pandemic, engage partners from around the world on issues such as poverty and climate change, and address issues of inequality and opportunity at home.

I have known @Joe Biden for three decades. He is a good man and a great American. He has the experience and character to bring us together. He can bring hope and opportunity to the people and places that have been left behind. I’m * thrilled * that he’s our next president. https://t.co/XVGyC0yBg4
