The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released an official notice for candidates who have applied for the Enforcement Officer / Account Officer recruitment test in the Employee Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) that will be taken to held May 9, 2021. Candidates will have the option to submit their revised exam center / city choice to make it convenient for them to appear on the exam.
The window for the presentation of the revised choice of centers by the candidates will be operational in two phases, that is, from December 15 to 21, 2020 (06:00 pm) and from December 29, 2020 to January 4, 2021 (06:00 pm).
“Taking into account the large number of candidates and requests received from candidates to change centers, as well as requests received from candidates for open centers in Kolkata and Jaipur that exceed their capacity, the Commission has decided to give candidates a chance, if they wish, submit their revised choice of Center for Proof of Hire. The applications of the candidates for the change in their Centers will be considered against the capacities available in the existing Centers, as well as the new centers that have been added, ”the official statement reads.
The EPFO Recruitment Exam will now take place at 72 centers across India. In the first phase, 49 centers with available capacity will be opened. In the second phase, after adjusting the options given by the candidates, other centers will be opened as far as possible.
Requests for changes in the Centers will be considered based on the principle of “first apply, first assign” and once the capacity of a particular Center is reached, it will be frozen, the notice reads.
