A new set of the highly anticipated Royal Enfield Meteor leaked online, thus revealing that the new 350cc model from the South India-based retro motorcycle maker could be sold with the suffix “Fireball”.
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is definitely taking a long time to reach our market. If you think about it, we first saw spy images of this motorcycle over a year ago and ever since then, there have been numerous sightings, speculation, and leaks related to the new motorcycle. However, we cannot exactly blame the South Indian-based manufacturer for this delay, as ongoing unfavorable circumstances have affected the entire automotive market.
While car and bicycle manufacturers remain skeptical about the resumption of production, it appears that Royal Enfield has been trying to unveil its new motorcycle as soon as possible. Today, we have a few more images from the Royal Enfield Meteorite that recently leaked online on Instagram. One of the most important revelations to emerge from these leaked images is that the new motorcycle could be called the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Fireball.
Furthermore, the fact that the company is already ready with the official graphics of its new product shows that the launch of the new model could take place shortly after the blockade is lifted. In all likelihood, it is actually these circumstances that have led to such a delay in the introduction of the new motorcycle. Otherwise, the Meteor was previously projected to enter the market at the time the BSVI emission standards went into effect earlier this month.
The images you see on this page appear to be screenshots from the official online configurator. One of these images has even revealed the price of Rs 1.68,550. However, this should not be the exact ex-showroom price of the model, as the figure shown in the image could even include the prices of some of the official accessories.
However, what the images clearly show us is the visual package of the new motorcycle. The Royal Enfield Meteor “Fireball” will have a DRL LED circular headlamp, a dual capsule instrument cluster, stepped seat and a circular taillight.
Similar to the T’bird X, the new motorcycle could be sold in gloss paint options, including yellow and red. Alloy wheels receive color-coordinated streak treatment. The motorcycle will even have a polarized mosquito net, but it will be part of the official accessory package and cost Rs 1,750.
Supporting the Royal Enfield Meteor Fireball is the company’s new J platform. The new motorcycle will be powered by a new engine with an engine capacity of 346-499cc. It will be suspended via telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. You’ll get disc brakes on both wheels, while ABS will be standard.
