UP Government will charge Rs 10,000 per one-way taxi from Delhi airport to Noida, Ghaziabad

The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) will charge exorbitant prices for taxi rides from Delhi airport.

If you are looking for a taxi ride from Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) to destinations like Noida, Ghaziabad or even to a destination within a 250 km radius to Delhi Airport, be prepared to pay an exorbitantly high price amount for it. The Uttar Pradesh State Highway Transportation Corporation (UPSRTC) will provide these services for up to Rs 10,000.

And note that this is the lowest price, as this would be applicable for sedans stocks. If you need an SUV, the price would go up to Rs 12,000. This will be followed by an additional charge beyond the distance of 250 km: Rs 40 per kilometer for the sedan and Rs 50 per kilometer for the SUV. And per vehicle, only two passengers could sit.

Other forms of transportation are also expensive, as a seat could cost Rs 1,000 for buses without air conditioning and Rs 1,320 for buses with air conditioning. This will be for a distance of up to 100 km. These charges would double for a distance of after 100 km and up to 200 km. By bus, 26 passengers could board.

the Hindustan Times the report goes on to say that Dr. UPSRTC Raj Shekhar had issued a letter to regional managers in Noida and Ghaziabad on May 9, 2020, reporting on the facilitation of buses and taxis from the airport for residents who are part of Vande Bharat Mission. This will be available to those who obtain authorization from the Delhi Government to travel and do not have any COVID-19 symptoms.

Currently, those who have returned to India have been kept under 14-day quarantine in Delhi and these services will be provided once their quarantine period ends.
