Unlock 6.0 guidelines: The central government has announced Unlock 6.0 guidelines for the month of November. Guidelines for reopening issued by the Interior Ministry advised state governments and Union Territories to enforce appropriate Covid-19 behavior. The newly issued guidelines will remain in effect until November 30. The central government has already allowed certain activities such as hotels, restaurants and hospitality services, subways and shopping centers to resume following restrictions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Unlock 6.0 guidelines; what is open, what is not

The central government has asked the states and UT to accept a call for the reopening of state and private universities for researchers, schools and training institutes, and meetings of more than 100 people.

International passenger air travel will continue as permitted by MHA.

The pools, which are used for training athletes, will remain open in November.

Showrooms for business-to-business (B2B) purposes, cinemas, theaters and multiplexes up to 50 percent of their seating capacity will continue to operate.

Social, academic, sports, entertainment, cultural, religious, political and other congregation functions will continue, in closed spaces with a maximum of 50 percent of the capacity of the room with a ceiling of 200 people.

The strict lockdown will continue in the containment zones until November 30, 2020. Only essential activities will be allowed.

The central government ordered the states and UT not to implement the blockade outside the containment zones, without prior consultation.

There should be no restrictions on the interstate and intrastate movement of people and goods. No separate electronic permission / approval / permission will be required for such moves.
