Beginning September 1, individuals will no longer need to obtain electronic passes or register their details on government websites to travel anywhere within the country, rules issued by the Union Ministry of the Interior as part of the Unlock 4 status. .
Under the new guidelines, aimed at initiating more activities outside of containment zones amid the coronavirus pandemic, there will be no restrictions on interstate or interdistrict movement of people and goods.

International passenger air travel, except as allowed by the Interior Ministry, also remains suspended for now.
Central Government rules also prohibit state governments from imposing local blockades outside containment zones without prior consultation.
Specific state closures in light of the surge in coronavirus cases, including a nightly curfew, have affected interstate traffic, the movement of goods and business activities.
In Unlock 4, all activities and facilities will be allowed except movie theaters, swimming pools, amusement parks, theaters (except outdoor theater) and similar venues.
