  • Students in classes 9 to 12 from schools outside the containment zones will be able to visit their faculty to clear up questions on a voluntary basis starting September 21.
  • No restrictions will be imposed on the interstate and intrastate movement of persons and goods. No separate permission or electronic permits will be needed for such a move.

Unlock Guidelines 4.0: What is not allowed

  • Schools, universities, educational and training institutions will be closed to students until September 30. Online / distance learning will continue.
  • Union states and territories will not be allowed to enforce closures outside of the buffer zones without permission from the Center.
  • Movie theaters, swimming pools, amusement parks, theaters, and other similar venues will be closed.
  • International air travel, other than that permitted by the MHA, remains suspended.
  • People over 65 and young children under the age of 10 have been advised to stay home. They should venture only for essential and health purposes, the MHA has said.

Unlock 4: Haryana Guidelines

Unlock 4: Tamil Nadu Guidelines

  • All places of worship must be able to open until 8pm

  • Tea stalls and restaurants can operate from 6 am to 8 pm. They can stay open until 9:00 PM for takeout.
  • Clubs, hotels that offer accommodation, resorts, etc. they can work with suitable POEs.
