“The traditional nine-day statewide Navratri festival, organized by the state government each year, will not be held in the public interest due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation prevailing this year,” CM Rupani said in an official statement. .

It should be noted that the festival is expected to take place between October 17 and 25. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had started the state-level garba function at the GMDC Ground in Ahmedabad when he was the Prime Minister of Gujarat.
