Maharashtra’s Minister of Higher and Technical Education, Uday Samant, has cleared the air today on many speculations about the University of Mumbai exams and other exams in the state of Maharashtra. He has clarified that only final semester students would appear for exams at the university, while others would be awarded a promotion based on internal assessments. The exams would take place between July 1 and July 30, 2020, which is similar to the UGC guidelines.
The minister had previously reported that the decision on educational and academic exams in the state would be published on May 8, 2020, and announcements were made through a live webinar today.
