NEW DELHI: The Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ chaired on Thursday (November 26, 2020) a high-level review meeting on various schemes and programs of the Ministry of Education.

“Chaired a high-level review meeting on various @eduminofindia schemes and programs,” Pokhriyal tweeted.

During the meeting, the Minister of Education ordered the University Scholarship Commission (UGC) to ensure that all scholarships and scholarships are disbursed on time and to initiate a helpline for this.

The high-level review meeting was attended by the secretary, Amit Khare, the secretary Anita Karwal and senior officials from the Ministry of Education.

Pokhriyal also ordered that all the students’ grievances be redressed immediately. A fundamental decision was made to start technical education, especially engineering courses that provide education in the mother tongue will open from next academic year.

Some IIT and NIT are being shortlisted for the same, the Ministry of Education said in a statement.

Pokhriyal also said that all Ministry officials are working to ensure the proper implementation of the National Education Policy, with the aim of achieving the comprehensive development of students and the transformation of the Educational System in the country.

During the meeting, it was decided that the National Testing Agency will present the syllabus for the competitive exams after evaluating the existing scenario in various forums.

It was also decided that the Ministry of Education would launch a campaign to seek opinions from students, parents and teachers on how and when to take the exams next year.
