NEW DELHI: BJP Leader Uma Bharti on Friday he urged Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath allow opposition leaders and the media to visit the family of Victim of Hathras.
In a series of tweets, Uma Bharti said that Hathras Incident and the suspicious action of the UP police has damaged his image and also the image of the UP government and the BJP.

“I am superior to you and I am like your older sister, I ask you to accept my advice,” said Uma Bharti.
“I am Covid positive at the moment and I am hospitalized at AIIMS in Rishikesh, otherwise I would have been with the victim’s family at this time,” he said, adding, “he will visit the village as soon as he recovers.”
The police and UP administration have restricted access to the victim’s family, it has been alleged. On Thursday, Congressional leaders Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi were stopped on their way to the victim’s village by UP police. A fight ensued when Rahul got out of his vehicle and attempted to advance on foot. He was briefly detained and escorted back to Delhi.
TMC has alleged that its leaders were detained and “mistreated” when they tried to reach the victim’s village. The party alleged that its MP Derek O’Brien was pushed to the ground by police officers.
Restrictions on entry of media in the Bulgaddhi village of the Hatharas victim will continue until the Special Investigation Team ( SIT) completes its investigation, said Hathras Additional Police Superintendent Prakash Kumar on Friday.
