A 33-year-old Ukrainian fitness enthusiast and social media influencer, who once thought that ‘coronavirus doesn’t exist’ died after contracting the virus. Dmitriy Stuzhuk, who had previously denied the presence of the virus, has died after suffering heart complications caused by the infection, his ex-wife Sofia Stuzhuk announced on her Instagaram profile.
Sofia, who shares three children with Dmitriy, confirmed the news of his death and said he had to be rushed to the hospital for the second time after feeling unwell and was in “serious condition” and unconscious.
She told her followers on social media that he had “problems with his cardiovascular system … his heart is not driving. His condition is extremely serious. Nobody can do anything with this, ”said a report from the Mirror.
Dmitriy, who had been to Turkey recently, is reported to have contracted the virus there. “He woke up with a swollen neck and breathing difficulties,” he had previously posted on his social media account. Back in Ukraine, he tested positive and was hospitalized. He had been constantly giving updates on his health.
Speaking about his health conditions, Stuzhuk had warned his 1.1 million followers about the severity of the problem after he tested positive for the virus on his Instagram account on October 15.
He had posted a photo of himself and written: “I also thought there was no Covid … until I got sick.” “COVID-19 DISEASE IS NOT EPHEME (short-lived)! And heavy, ”he had said.
He had also talked about how the hospital was full of patients and there was a shortage of beds and many were treated in the corridors. He showed how he needed an oxygen device to breathe. He had been discharged from the hospital 8 days after his admission and allowed home treatment on October 15, where he was recovering until his condition worsened due to heart complications.
Sofía had published: “I did everything I could so that the father of my three children lives. But now nothing depends on me. “He later announced his passing and said:” Dima is no longer with us. His heart couldn’t bear. “
The couple that separated a while ago shared three children: David, Lola and Olivia. Her youngest son is only nine months old.
