UGC NET Admit Card 2020 soon, SOPs to be followed for the exam
The National Testing Agency, NTA has released the UGC NET 2020 admission card today, September 19, 2020. Admission has been published for the September 24 and 25 exams. The admission card download link is now activated by the Agency on the UGC NET official site at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can check the official notification along with the detailed date sheet here. The admission card for other exams would be delivered later by the Agency.
The Agency will follow the COVID19 special measures for the review. The Minister of Health has already published SOPs for testing and, like NEET, JEE tests, NTA will follow the guidelines for this exam too. In accordance with guidelines, containment zone staff and students are not allowed to be physically present in the test centers. Alternative arrangements will be made for them. UGC NET Admission Card 2020: How to Download
Candidates taking the exam can download the admission card by following these simple steps below.
- Visit the official NTA UGC NET site at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on UGC NET 2020 admission card link available on the home page.
- A new page will open where candidates can enter their login credentials.
- Click submit and your admission card will be displayed on the screen.
- Check the admission card and download it.
- Keep a printed copy of it for future needs.
Candidates will need to bring their admission card along with proof of identity with photo such as Aadhar card, passport, bottles of hand sanitizer, etc. to the exam room. The use of masks is mandatory on the day of the exam. The rules of social distancing will be followed in the test center and also in the test room. The authorities will make seating arrangements according to the guidelines of the center.
The UGC NET exam will consist of two assignments: Exam I and Exam II. Test I would carry 100-point questions and Test II would carry 200-point questions. The exam will be carried out in two shifts: the first shift from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and the second shift from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. For more related details, candidates can visit the official UGC NET site.
