‘Tyaag’ Replaced By ‘Bhog’, Outcast Veterans At TMC: Suvendu’s Farewell Shot In Mamata | India News

NEW DELHI: Former Trinamool Heavyweight Suvendu Adhikari, who joined the BJP Saturday, he unleashed a stabbing attack on Mamata banerjeeleadership in his parting shot.
In a open letter to Trinamool workers, Suvendu said that “extremely deep rot and discomfort” had Trinamool Congress.
He released his open letter hours before sharing the stage with Amit Shah in Midnapore.
The Trinamool rebel did not mention Mamata Banerjee, but fired a volley at her.
“Neither West Bengal nor the Trinamool Congress is anyone’s fiefdom,” Adhikari said, adding that the party was not built in a day or with the contribution of one person.
Suvendu, who was unhappy with the organizational changes at Trinamool, criticized Mamata for giving a poll strategist Prashant Kishor free hand on party matters.
“The very people, behind whose backs the party was created, are now being marginalized, humiliated and marginalized. Instead, people have now hired outside help, people without knowledge of the basic realities and without knowledge of sacrifice. En we need to work towards a shared goal as ambitious as creating the West Bengal of our dreams, “he said.
Suvendu alleged that the TMC, which ordinary people selflessly built brick by brick without any desire, is now filled with individuals who care for no one but themselves.
“Individuals who do not think of anyone but themselves, who will receive monetary compensation for their services and will disappear as soon as the elections are concluded. Individuals who do not have the ability to work selflessly. When will they get it. The concept of ‘tyaag’ (sacrifice) adopted by members like us has been replaced by the concept of ‘bhog’ (gratification) of the individuals who are now in charge, “he wrote in his letter.
“Political assassinations continue unabated. Illegal activities continue unabated. The sole aim of the party our people chose now has become to deceive, oppress, threaten and loot, all while claiming to be defending the Constitution,” said the former MLA from TMC’s Wrote East Midnapore.
“West Bengal is at a critical juncture as the people of the state are destined to make a decision in the 2021 Assembly elections that will impact them forever,” he said adding, “is not leaving Trinamool, but Trinamool has left the ideals that he defended “.
Adhikari joined BJP at Amit Shah’s public meeting in Midnapore on Saturday, along with five more TMC MLAs and a MP from the same party. Two other CPM MLAs also joined BJP during the meeting.
After Adhikari’s resignation from TMC, the Interior Ministry decided to provide him with ‘Z’ category security.
