BHOPAL: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday he warned that the sale and use of Chinese products cookies it would lead to a judicial process under the Explosives Law and two years in jail.

The House’s Additional Chief Secretary, Rajesh Rajora, said that Section 9b of the Explosives Law, which provides for two years in prison for storing, distributing and selling illegal cookies, would apply to Chinese cookies this year.
The department of origin has issued an order in this regard and has sent it to the district collectors. It says that the importation of cookies from other countries, including China, is illegal since the director general of foreign trade has not issued any license for it.
It was also decided at the meeting that cookies with pictures of gods and goddesses should not be used in Diwali. Rajora, however, explained that it was an “appeal to the people and not a ban.” An official present at the meeting said: “There was no decision on the matter. Many cookies made in Sivakasi come in packages that have images of goddesses. Can it be stopped? Therefore, no decision could be made on the ban. ”
