The BJP-JJP government remains under pressure as another JJP MLA, Amarjeet Dhanda, has supported farmers protesting the issue of three farm laws.

The MLA has said it supported farmers in their demands and urged the Center to withdraw the newly introduced laws.

Earlier, the Narnaund Assembly constituency JJP MLA Ram Kumar Gautam supported farmers protesting against the three agricultural laws and urged the central government to immediately withdraw the laws and guarantee minimum prices to support farmers.

He said that the Prime Minister should accept all the demands of the farmers.

“While farmers produce cereals to feed the people, their children protect the country’s borders. Political leaders who are making inappropriate comments about protesting farmers must be controlled, ”he said.

He demanded that all Haryana political parties also meet and adopt a resolution on the matter that will be forwarded to the Central Government to accept the farmers’ demands.

When asked if he had raised the issue at the party level, Gautam said that he did not attend party meetings and did not speak to party leaders about it either.
