Around 44,000 people were housed in 64 relief camps and 45,000 food packages were provided, according to an official statement quoted by him.
Rama Rao, the son of Prime Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, ordered officials to evacuate people from dilapidated buildings and works, even using force with the help of the police when necessary, to avoid any adverse incidents.

Rama Rao visited different areas of the city affected by the rain, including Nallakunta, Musheerabad and Amberpet, and assured the victims that the government would provide them with immediate assistance.
