Twitter was flooded with messages of congratulations for Yuzvendra Chahal, who married choreographer Dhanashree Verma on Tuesday. Chahal shared his wedding photo on Twitter, captioning the post: “12.22.20. Chahal, whose engagement to Dhanshree prior to IPL 2020 had set Twitter on fire with former cricketers as Virender Sehwag was teasing, became trending again on social media for his marriage.

Chahal and Dhanashree’s wedding went along the expected lines. The choreographer was seen in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah during RCB matches at IPL 2020.
Chahal, who is not currently part of the Indian test team, had won four wickets in the three T20Is against Australia. The leg-spinner made headlines after returning as Man of the Match as a concussion substitute for Ravindra Jadeja.
Prior to the T20I series, he played the first two ODI of the three-game series against Australia, managing to start only one wicket.
In the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) 15 matches in this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL), Chahal finished with 21 wickets at an economy rate of 7.67.
The 30-year-old has played 54 ODI and 45 T20I for the Men in Blue, managing to tear away 151 wickets in both formats.
Chahal will most likely be seen in action in the upcoming ODI and T20I series against England next year.
