BJP deputy from Delhi and former chairman of the party’s state unit, Manoj Tiwari, claimed on Wednesday that the so-called “tukde tukde gang” was trying to turn the farmers’ uproar on the borders of the national capital into a similar protest. to Shaheen Bagh.

Shaheen Bagh in South Delhi was the center of the agitation against the citizenship amendment law earlier this year, before the COVID-19 pandemic hit.

Tiwari, in a statement, said that the alleged slogans in favor of Khalistan and the threat to the prime minister by some protesters among the farmers demonstrated that it was a “well-planned conspiracy” to create “unrest” in the country.

“The presence of individuals and groups that opposed the National Register of Citizens (NRC) and CAA in Shaheen Bagh clearly establishes that the ‘tukde-tukde’ gang is trying to experiment with Shaheen Bagh 2.0 and create riots under the grip of the protest from farmers, “Tiwari charged.

Farmers from Punjab, Haryana, UP and other states are camping on the borders of Delhi demanding that the Center withdraw the three new agricultural laws.

The borders of Singhu and Tikri, neighboring Haryana, have been blocked by protesters for the past week.

Tiwari said he hoped that the real farmers protesting the farm laws would understand the reality and thwart the “intentions” of the alleged ‘tukde-tukde’ gang.

“The riot plotters, who were successful in Delhi, are preparing to incite nationwide riots on behalf of farmers. It is the responsibility of each citizen of this country to defeat them, ”he further stated.

The Tiwari parliamentary constituency in northeast Delhi was engulfed by community violence in February this year, claiming more than 50 lives, injuring hundreds of people and causing massive destruction of property.
