Final IPL 2020: The Mumbai Indians are ready for the last hurdle against Delhi Capitals in the Dream 11 IPL 2020 Final which is scheduled for November 10 at 7:30 PM IST.

Recently, the franchise published a video in which Trent Boult can be seen playing bowling on the networks. Before the final game, the Mumbai Indians players are sweating hard in the nets and achieving great successes to beat the capitals of Delhi. They leave no stone unturned in their final preparations.

The defending champion Mumbai Indians will meet the Delhi Capitals on November 10 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Their goal is to win the fifth record-spanning IPL title this year, having previously won the IPL trophy in 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019.

Boult suffered a groin injury in Qualifier 1 vs DC

Trent Boult gave MI a dream start to IPL 2020 Qualifier 1 by bagging two wickets in just his first over of innings. After teasing DC hitters extensively in his first two overs, the Kiwi pacemaker did not return to bowling after sustaining a groin injury, sending chills down the spine of the Mumbai fans.

In his first spell, Boult finished 2-1-9-2 and was expected to accompany Jasprit Bumrah with the ball in death overs as well, but had to leave the ground in 14th due to injury.

While the absence didn’t hurt Mumbai, which won the match by 57 runs and booked a spot in the IPL final, it did make people wonder if the left gunsmith would be fit for the final.

How important is Boult to MI?

Interestingly, the Bumrah-Boult duo is the deadliest at IPL 2020, together both players have accounted for 49 wickets, which is the highest by any pair in the tournament.

MI skipper Rohit Sharma awaits Trent Boult’s availability in the final

After the end of the game, Rohit Sharma gave an update on the pacemaker. While he could not confirm the extent of the injury, he said Boult is fine and the injury is not a problem. Rohit Sharma is hopeful that the pacemaker in his left arm will recover before the final.

“I have not seen it (Boult). But it seems fine. I don’t think it’s a big problem. Three days off and I should be back in the park, ”said Rohit Sharma.
