After the first look, the creators of ‘Durgamati’ have unveiled the trailer and, at first glance, actress Bhumi Pednekar is impressive. As we know, ‘Durgamati’ is the official remake of Anushka Shetty starring ‘Bhaagamathie’, the trailer begins on the same note showing a haunted house.
The mysteries behind must be hunted down and Bhumi, who is a prisoner, is placed in the haunted house. The series of events takes place in which Bhumi is harassed and beaten. And finally Bhumi flashes in the title role ‘Durgamati’ and scores.
Although Bhumi is an excellent performer, the only downside we see in the images is that she doesn’t have that aura and great personality like Anushka, but she lives up to the character she played.
The film’s other main cast includes Arshad Warsi, Mahi Gill, and Jissu Sen Gupta.
Ashok, the director of the original film, is directing the Bollywood version and ‘Durgamati’ will get an OTT release. Amazon Prime will stream this movie starting December 11.
