HYDERABAD: AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi said that India’s Constitution apparently looks like a snake to the BJP, which wishes no political party to survive.
Addressing the election rallies on Friday, Owaisi said the BJP is parachuting several high-profile leaders to campaign in civic body elections.
Putting an international touch, he said Modi went to the United States to campaign for US President Donald Trump and raised the slogan ‘Ab ki baar Trump Sarkar. Owaisi said that whoever was supported by Modi has been ousted. Modi supported Cameron in London and Trump in the United States, and both lost power. Owaisi asked Modi to launch a surgical strike against China, which even MIM would support.
Owaisi said that the poor and middle class sectors were severely affected by the policies adopted by the Modi government. People lost their lifetime savings due to the unwanted lock. The Center imposed the blockade in the wake of Covid-19 when it was not necessary and lifted it at an inappropriate time. The country experienced an “economic disaster” due to the shutdown.
He said that due to the closure, 10 million workers who worked in the unorganized sector were left without work and two million salaried people lost their jobs. People are not in a position to pay school fees when they open.
The Hyderabad MP said that in 2014 many intellectuals were of the opinion that Modi would secure the country. “China invaded 900 kilometers into Ladakh. All of a sudden, he announced the demonetization of 500 rupees and 1000 rupees notes and claimed that it would invalidate the black money, “said Owaisi.
He said that the rich were not affected by demonetization, while the poor are subject to hardship. Likewise, the peasants presumed that they would benefit if the BJP came to power and now they realize that the party is against them. Water cannons were used against protesting farmers in Delhi, where the temperature was as low as 10 degrees Celsius.
Chandrayangutta MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi said the BJP leaders only speak of the existence of Pakistanis and Rohingya in the Old City and the surgical attack in the Old City. He asked whether these actions can undermine the Chinese military, improve the unemployment situation and improve the value of the rupee.
