NEW DELHI: Delhi health minister Satyendar Jain on Sunday said that the Delhi government has barricaded the areas of contention and not of relaxation that has taken place in these areas.
“Irrespective of the containment areas there, barricading, and there is no relaxation since the government has given in these areas,” the Minister said.
“All people should follow three rules. In the first place, put a face mask when out in public. In the second place, to maintain social distancing. The third is to sanitize the hands again and again. If people follow these three things, coronavirus can be avoided. If the rules are not followed in any area of contention, then action will be taken against them,” the Minister added.
On the topic of the increase in the number of containment in the areas of the national capital, he said, “Now more than 500 cases are coming in, due to that the containment areas have increased. The doubling of the rate in Delhi is 13 days.”
On being asked about the spread of the community, Jain said that institutions like the Central government, the experts and icmr can say about this topic a lot better, because there is a very thin line between the community of propagation and the local speed. The Central government can give better information, he said.
