In a series of tweets, Nadda cited several social welfare initiatives put forward by her to affirm that they will guarantee food security for migrant workers, boost the agricultural sector and benefit small businesses.

He said the free implementation of the “one nation, one nation ration card” scheme is an important initiative to ensure food security for migrant workers.
“Massive” support for farmers in the finance minister’s announcements is also welcome, he said, adding that Rs two lakh crore of concessional credit to Rs 2.5 million from Kisan, farmers and fishermen beneficiaries and Rs 30 billion from additional funds from NABARD and other agencies they will boost the agricultural sector.
“I thank our government for announcing a new scheme to offer Rs. 5,000 crore. Special line of credit to 50 Lakh street vendors and Rs. 1,500 crore interest grant for Mudra ‘Shishu’ loans that benefit small businesses,” he said.
Sitharaman announced on Thursday the free distribution of 5 kg of food grains and 1 kg ‘chana‘for the next two months to approximately 8 million migrants who do not have central or state ration cards.
Announcing the second tranche of the economic package, he said that about Rs 3.5 billion will be spent on this initiative.
The central government will bear the full cost, while state governments will be responsible for the implementation and identification of migrants for distribution of the dry ration, he told the media.
