The second prize was drawn for ticket number AL-505535 which pocketed Rs 5 lakh, while the third prize worth Rs 1 lakh was won with ticket numbers AA-325036, AB-150000, AC-594081, AD- 745278, AE-729470, AF -250386, AG-505608 AH-167892, AJ-611465, AK-815483, AL-129800, AM-544419.
The consolation prize of Rs 8,000 was won under the ticket numbers AA 509910, AB 509910, AC 509910, AD 509910, AF 509910, AG 509910, AH 509910, AJ 509910, AK 509910, AL 509910, AM 509910. The official results They are available at keralalotteries.com.
The price of a single ticket is Rs 40, while the full book costs Rs 750. If the prize money is less than 5000 rupees, the winners can claim the money at any lottery shop in Kerala. The Kerala government runs a large number of seasonal and daily lotteries which are extremely popular with the public and help to shore up non-tax revenue for the administration. The lottery department was created in 1967 and, since its inception, it is one of the few government departments that has never recorded losses.
The first lottery ticket in 1967 was sold for Re 1 and had a cash prize of Rs 50,000. The department has grown from an income of Rs 20 lakhs in 1967-68 to almost Rs 9000 crore in 2017-18. Today, it sells major Thiruvonam, Vishu, Puja, Monsoon, Summer bumper tickets along with daily draw categories such as Akshaya, Sthree Shakti, Karunya, and Pournami.
