DU 5th Cut-Off 2020: University of Delhi Releases Fifth Cut-Off List; Open admission in Hansraj, Kirori Mal

The University of Delhi has released the fifth cut-off list today, November 7. The fifth DU cut list for Science, Arts and Commerce streams will soon be available on the official website: du.ac.in. Most of the DU colleges have closed their admissions for popular programs. Admission against the fifth DU court list will take place beginning November 9.

At Hansraj College, admission to the fifth cut list is closed for honors programs in the science stream for the unreserved category.

At Hindu College, below the fifth limit, admission is still open for Chemistry and Mathematics with 97.66% and 97.75%, respectively. However, the Physics, Zoology and Chemistry programs have closed the door to this academic session.

Science admission at Kirorimal College is open for honors programs: Math and Physics at 96%, however, at Lady Shri Ram, admission is closed for all science programs as per DU’s fifth cut list

At Gargi College, under the fifth cut-off list, admission to all science programs except B.Sc (Hons.) Zoology has been closed. Admission to the fifth cut-off list is open for programs including Botany and Chemistry at 87.33 percent and 88 percent is still open for candidates belonging to reserved categories.

This year, DU has increased the number of undergraduate seats from 66,263 to 69,554 seats. The reason for the increase in the number of seats is the addition of 3,291 supernumerary seats.

Admission against the first DU cut list began on October 12 The university had closed the admission against the second DU cut list on October 21, the third DU cut list on October 28 and the admission against the DU’s fourth cut list ended on November 2. The university will also allow candidates who accepted admission based on the previous cut-off lists to change the university and courses selected based on eligibility and the fifth DU cut-list. To change DU college and course, students must withdraw their previous admission and select the new colleges and courses based on merit.

Steps to withdraw prior admission to DU UG

  • Download the DU UG Admission Cancellation Form from du.ac.in

  • Fill in the required details

  • Submit to withdraw previous admission DU UG

  • The cancellation fee will be adjusted with the previous admission fee and the refund will be credited to the DU wallet

  • On the home page of the university, apply for admission against the fifth DU limit

  • Select new university and course

  • Pay the DU UG admission fee

  • Send
