A high-level delegation from the Trinamool Congress, led by Yashwant Sinha, former Cabinet Minister and now Vice President of Trinamool and Minister of State Subrata Mukherjee, met with the Electoral Commission today with a complaint alleging that central police forces acted. with bias in favor of the BJP in certain voting centers. .
Sinha told reporters after meeting with Election Director Aariz Aftab that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Interior Minister Amit Shah are influencing the electoral process by relaying instructions from Delhi.
“We have told the voting panel, the role of the central forces has been partial in many booths in the first two phases. The former Minister of Finance and Foreign Affairs in Vajpayee’s cabinet predicted a “landslide victory for the Trinamool Congress despite provocations and interference by the BJP (in the voting process).”
