GATE 2021 supports card to release at gate.iitb.ac.in
GATE 2021 Admission Card Live Updates: More than 8.82 lakh candidates who had registered for the Graduate Engineering Aptitude Test (GATE) 2021 can download the admission card or call letter for the exam today on its official website. gate.iitb.ac.in. The exam will take place on February 6, 7, 13 and 14. The result is expected to be published on March 22.
A total of 8,82,684 candidates have applied for GATE 2021, which represents a slight increase from applications of 8.59 lakh from last year. This year, two new courses were introduced that allowed students with a background in the humanities to apply as well. A total of 14,196 students have applied for newly introduced humanities courses.
Overall, the number of women requesting the exam has also increased this year. This year a total of 2,88,379 female students have applied. This is an increase of approximately 10,000 from last year. Those who pass GATE will be eligible for admission to MTech courses at the IITs, as well as being eligible for jobs at the PSUs.
