Adherence to the standard treatment protocol by all health facilities throughout the country, as well as daily monitoring of positive cases in home isolation, has led to progressively improving recoveries from coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in the country, said the Union Ministry of Health.
Total recoveries in India have exceeded 2.7 million, with the current recovery rate reaching 76.47 percent.
“An important feature of Covid-19 case management in India is the increasing rate of recovered patients. A greater number of patients are recovering and are discharged from hospitals and home isolation (in the case of mild and moderate cases). These recoveries are being achieved thanks to adherence to the “National Standard Treatment Protocol” by all health facilities throughout the country, as well as by regular daily monitoring of positive cases in home isolation, “said the Ministry of Health in a statement.
