The returning migrants in Bihar show a high positivity: 1 in 4 of the proof of Delhi

The data emerging from Bihar is crucial not only to the state of the containment strategy, but also to the national capital.

In the first place, indicates the presence of a large asymptomatic population in Delhi. Second, it can guide public health authorities in the capital of the country to carry out a contact tracing of these migrants, and to contain the spread in areas that may have gone unnoticed.

Migrants returned from other states reported a positivity rate similar to that of the state of the figure.

So 141 of the 1,283 samples of migrant workers who have returned to Bihar Maharashtra positive, showing a positivity rate of 11% (the state of the positivity rate is 11.7%).

Of the 430 samples of the migrants that returned from Rajasthan, 16 positive. The positivity rate was 3.7%; this is 2.24% in the state of Rajasthan.

Among the southern states, 6 of the 203 samples of migrant workers who were returning from Karnataka positive. The positivity rate was 3%; it is 0.78% in Karnataka.

Of the 57 samples of the migrants that returned from Tamil Nadu, 2 positive. The positivity rate was 3.5%; it is 3.43% in Tamil Nadu.

However, of the 367 samples of migrant workers returning from Telangana, 6 positive. The positivity rate was 1.6%; it was 6.6% in Telangana.
