Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy visited the Eluru Government Hospital in West Godavari district on Monday, where more than 150 patients have been admitted with complaints of nausea, dizziness and epilepsy.
The Chief Minister met with the patients and assured them of all help.
According to a press release from the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), the Chief Minister held a review meeting with the district authorities in the Zila Parishat conference room.
The Chief Minister inquired about medical assistance and other measures taken regarding mass diseases.
“Officials said that drinking water tests have been carried out at various points in the city, all reports are normal. The analyzes for the presence of heavy metals in the water are also at the normal level. viruses, they are also in normal condition, “the statement said.
According to the OCM, officials said the cases are identified not only in the urban area of Eluru but also traced to the rural areas of Eluru and nearby areas of Denduluru. There are people of all ages in the patients. Those who drink boiled water and mineral water also got sick, CMO said.
In addition, the Chief Minister ordered that good food and quality medicine be provided at the hospital.
