The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is poised to conduct the long awaited NTPC exam, the ministerial position exam, among other hires for positions over 1.40 lakh. The exams will begin from December 15th. A total of 2.44 million million candidates have applied to fill the positions, according to official data received by the Ministry of Railways.
The examinations will begin with the vacancy of 1,663 positions for the isolated and ministerial categories. The computer-based examination will be held from December 15-18 and 1.03 lakh of candidates are expected to appear for the examination. The non-technical popular category (NTPC) exam for 35,208 positions will take place from December 18 and will conclude at the end of March 2021. A total of 1.26 crore candidates have applied for the exam.
The latter will be exams for RRC level 1 positions, including jobs for track maintainers, main points, and various Level 1 employee roles. Computer-based tests for these positions will run from April to June. The exact dates have yet to come out. A total of 1,03,769 positions will be filled through this recruitment examination for which candidates of Rs 1.15 million have been applied.
