While delivering the keynote address at the opening function of the 2020 16th Annual Grand Challenges Meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that the future will be shaped by societies that invest in science and innovation.
“The future will be shaped by societies that invest in science and innovation. But this cannot be done in a myopic way. You have to invest in science and innovation well in advance, ”said the prime minister. “That’s when we can reap benefits at the right time.”
While speaking about the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic during his speech, Prime Minister Modi said: “It has taken a global pandemic for us to realize once again the importance of teamwork.”
