In one of the most shocking news, actress Arya Banerjee, who appeared in at least two Bollywood movies, including The dirty picture, was found dead at her residence in Calcutta. Her real name was Devdutta Banerjee and she was the daughter of the late sitar master Nikhil Banerjee’s daughter.
Forensic experts reportedly said he was bleeding from his nose and had vomited. An autopsy is in progress. Reports revealed that the actress lived alone with her dog and her sister lived in Singapore. Many empty liquor bottles were found at his residence.
A high-ranking police officer said that, like every day, his maid had come to work and no one answered the door. When he alerted the neighbors, the police were informed that the house was locked from the inside. The death is currently being investigated.
