Christopher Nolan’s Tenet finally hit Indian theaters. Although the film was released months ago on the international market, it is now reaching Indian theaters as the cinemas here were closed due to the pandemic. Many theaters in the country have now reopened, taking into account the new security regulations.
Tenet stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, and Kenneth Branagh, among others. The movie trailer didn’t reveal much about the plot, but from what we’ve seen so far, the movie appears to be a mind-blowing action thriller that manipulates the concept of time.
John David Washington plays a character named Protagonist who has been tasked with saving the world from World War III. Speaking about working with Nolan, Washington said: “It exceeded my expectations. I can’t speak for everyone else, but in my experience Chris is the director of an actor. He fully embraced and defended my performance and spontaneity, and my contributions, using my instincts and what I felt I could contribute.
Tenet is actor Dimple Kapadia’s first collaboration with Christopher Nolan. In the film, Kapadia plays Priya, an Indian arms dealer. A part of the film was also shot in India.
In a conversation with PTI, Kapadia said: “I think doing Tenet has really changed my life. I was always a reluctant actor, I kept putting things off and not doing them. But Tenet has really changed that for me. I am eager to go now. I want to do a lot of work now, good work. “
The actress added that she wants people to see Tenet in theaters. “My only wish for the film is that people really enjoy it in theaters. I know these are tough times, but this movie is made for the big screen. It is absolutely fantastic and incredible. You have to see it to believe it. At the same time, people must take complete care, ”said Dimple Kapadia.

In Mumbai, Tenet was shot in areas such as Breach Candy Hospital, Cafe Mondegar, Colaba Causeway, Colaba Market, Gateway of India, Grant Road, Royal Bombay Yacht Club and the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.
