Well-known Telugu television actor Sravani Kondapalli died by suicide on Tuesday night. According to a report by The News Minute, she was found dead at her home in Hyderabad. However, her family alleges that the motive for her suicide is harassment.
The report added that Sravani took her own life after alleged harassment by a man named Devaraj Reddy, whom she met on Tik Tik and with whom she became well acquainted. According to the police, Sravani’s body has been taken to Osmania General Hospital for autopsy.
Sravani’s brother Shiva told the media that Devaraj has been harassing his sister for money. He even threatened to leak some videos. “My sister told me that she was under pressure because he was blackmailing her. She said she had to attend a shooting but she soon made this extreme decision, ”Shiva is quoted in the report.

Sravani’s parents have filed a harassment case against Devaraj. An inspector told The News Minute: “A case has been filed against a man for alleged harassment and an investigation is under way.”
Sravani has been a part of the industry for close to eight years. She has worked on daily soap operas such as Manasu Mamatha and Mounaragam.
