Telugu television actor Kondapalli Sravani reportedly died by suicide at his residence in Hyderabad on Wednesday, said V Narsimha Reddy, a senior police official from SR Nagar Police Station.
Speaking to ANI by phone, Reddy said the incident took place on Tuesday between 9 and 10 p.m.
“Television actress Kondapalli Sravani allegedly committed suicide at her home in Hyderabad. Yesterday, between 9 pm and 10 pm, she entered her room and hanged herself at her residence in SR Nagar, while her relatives were also present at her home. “, he said.
“The actor had previously stayed with a man named Devraj. In June, he filed a complaint against Devaraj for harassment. She has recently started meeting him again due to family members questioning her yesterday. Later in the evening, she died by suicide. “he added.
The body has been sent for autopsy and a case has been filed against Devraj under the incitement of suicide charges.
Devraj has not yet been arrested and further investigations are underway.
