Telugu actress Vijayashanti met with Union Interior Minister Amit Shah on Sunday.

Telugu actress Vijayashanti will be formally inducted into the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) tomorrow, G party leader Vivek Venkatswamy said.
Hours earlier, Ms Vijayashanti met with the Union Interior Minister Amit Shah.
“Today, under the leadership of G Kishan Reddy, Vijayashanti met with Interior Minister Amit Shah. She will be formally incorporated into the BJP in the presence of the BJP chief, JP Nadda. Vijayashanti worked a lot in Telangana, but the chief minister of the state, KC Rao, marked everyone. ” Mr Venkatswamy said.
“The BJP will definitely win in the Telangana Assembly next time. Vijayashanti will be at the forefront for the development of the party in the state,” he added.
Ms. Vijayashanti began her political career at the BJP. However, he later joined Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and then made an entry into Congress in 2014 prior to the formation of Telangana.
The BJP made significant strides in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) polls, winning 48 seats, seven fewer than the ruling TRS, which emerged as the largest party with 55 seats.
The BJP’s good performance came on the heels of its victory last month in the Dubbaka assembly seat. The party had taken the seat from the ruler TRS.
