HYDERABAD: Telangana Prime Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday indicating that he will join the latter with a sense of pride in laying the foundation stone for the grand Central Vista project.

The Central Vista redevelopment project is a construction plan to give India’s electric corridor a new spatial identity in what is generally called Lutyen’s Delhi. La Vista Central, located in the heart of the national capital, extends from Rashtrapati Bhawan to the Gateway of India and is a tourist attraction.
The contract to revisit master plan for the development of Central Vista (Rajpath) and a common central secretariat has been granted to a Gujarat-based company, HCP Design, Planning and Management Pvt Ltd, with the government prescribing strict deadlines to complete various works, including the remodeling of the building of parliament by 2024, said Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Oct. 25.
