Teen Noida commits suicide when Tik Tok videos don’t like me | India News

New Delhi: In one unfortunate incident, a teenager allegedly committed suicide at his home in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, because he was depressed at not having received enough likes on his TikTok videos in recent times.

The deceased, identified as Noor Iqbal, 18, was a resident of the Salarpur village of Noida. During the preliminary investigation, it was revealed that he liked to share his videos on TikTok, but was upset that they hadn’t received enough likes on the app in a few days.

People in his family and neighborhood described him as a good person and told the police that he used to call and personally ask everyone to like his videos on Tik Tok.

On April 16 at night, he committed suicide by hanging himself from his resident’s ceiling fan, which is under the confines of the Sector 39 police station in Noida. Local police arrived at the scene immediately after they were alerted to the incident. They broke the door that was locked inside and found her body hanging.

The family of the deceased originally belonged to the Malda district of West Bengal. His father worked as a worker and according to the neighbors, he always fulfilled his son’s wishes. For the past few days, both of them, the father-son duo have remained inside their house in Salapur due to the closure.
