‘Team Up for Toys’, PM Modi gives another boost to self-reliance in India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addresses the nation today through his radio show ‘Mann Ki Baat’. Earlier on August 18, Prime Minister Modi had asked people to share their input and ideas for the 68th edition of his monthly radio show “Mann ki Baat”.

Here are live updates from PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat address:

-September should be observed as a “month of nutrition”. It adds that the correct amount of nutrition received during infancy ensures the child’s proper physical and mental health and development.

-We have many different applications that are made in the country, such as ‘Koo’ for microblogging and ‘Chingari’, and these are gaining popularity.

Our responsibility to make India self-sufficient.

There has been a rich tradition of local toys in our country. There are many talented and skilled craftsmen who are experienced in making good toys.

We have also focused on toys in the National Education Policy. Learn by playing, making toys, etc. it has become part of the curriculum.

I urge our startup to come together for toys, this also coincides with our call to voice for locals. I urge our young brothers to play games in India and also in India.

The global toy industry is over 7 million lakh rupees, but India’s share is very small; You will have to work to increase it.

-Some parts of India are also developing as toy clusters, that is, as toy centers. Like, Channapatna in Ramnagaram (Karnataka), Kondaplli in Krishna (Andhra Pradesh), Thanjavur in Tamil Nadu, Dhubri in Assam, Varanasi in UP – there are many places like that, we can count many names.

There is a strong link between our festivals and the environment. We have many festivals that are related to protecting our environment.

Our farmers have proven their worth even during the Covid-19 pandemic

The Onam festival is also celebrated with joy and fervor. This festival comes in the month of Chingam. During this period, people buy something new, decorate their houses, prepare Pookalam, enjoy Onam-Saadiya. Variety of games, contests are also held.

This is a time of festivals but at the same time, there is also a sense of discipline among the people due to the COVID-19 situation.
