CHENNAI: Tamil nadu Prime Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami announced Wednesday that public and private bus transportation between districts and Passenger train In-state services will be allowed beginning September 7.
The state government resumed bus transportation within districts on Tuesday. In an official statement, the prime minister said there were requests from the public to restart interdistrict travel operations for work and business purposes.
“Permission is granted to resume public and private bus transportation between districts following standard operating procedure,” Palaniswami said.
