CHENNAI: In a move against canceling student exam delays, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) warned Anna University that it would be forced to withdraw approval from the university if the delays they are canceled as proposed by the Tamil Nadu government. .

Experts warned that canceling late exams would reduce the value of students’ hard-earned degrees.
AICTE President Anil D Sahasrabudhe wrote a letter to the Vice Chancellor of Anna University, MK Surappa, on this issue.
“It is surprising that seniors who had failed multiple courses in the previous semester have passed without taking an exam. It is not acceptable to award grades without taking any exam and graduating students. Such students will not be recognized by the industry or any other university of higher education, “said the president of AICTE in the letter.
