Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhasker react to Rhea Chakraborty’s harassment at NCB office: “ Witness our lowest and most shameful witch hunt ” – bollywood

Actors Taapsee Pannu, Huma Qureshi and Swara Bhasker criticized the media for harassing Rhea Chakraborty on Sunday, calling it ‘the lowest of the low’ behavior. Rhea was responding to the summons from the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) when she was harassed by a horde of journalists. Since then, the videos have gone viral, prompting disapproval from many.

“In the name of Justice, these people have lynched a human being of his right to live even before his guilt is proven. I sincerely pray that Karma finds the direction of each and every human being as part of this lowest point of humanity that we are witnessing, ”Taapsee wrote while sharing a video of Rhea struggling to make her way between the crowd.

“Media vultures. The press is behaving in a barbaric way. Is there no one in authority who can stop this, ”wrote Rhea’s friend Shibani Dandekar. Swara also shared the video and wrote: “India… witness our lowest level! Shameful witch hunt! Disgusting..”

Huma said that Rea deserved her space as a woman. “What’s happening to us? We cannot behave like this. Surely the truth must come to light, but this girl deserves her space as a woman, basic respect and her right to the rules of social distancing, ”she wrote.

The actress was summoned by NCB on Sunday, she will also appear before the agency on Monday. Her brother Showik has been arrested by the NCB.

NCB has said that it wants to confront Rhea with Showik and Sushant Singh Rajput employees Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant to determine their individual roles in this alleged drug trade. The interrogation is based on cell phone chat logs and other electronic data that suggested that these people were allegedly acquiring some prohibited drugs.

Rhea, in interviews with various television news channels, has said that she has never used drugs. However, she had claimed that the late actor used to use marijuana.

Miranda is alleged to have told NCB investigators that she used to procure buds or cured marijuana for the late actor’s home.
