Taapsee Pannu and Lakshmi Manchu criticize Rhea Chakraborty’s media judgment: ‘Trust the law of the land for your sanity’ – bollywood

Taapsee Pannu and Southern actor Lakshmi Manchu have spoken out against the alleged “media trial” of actor Rhea Chakraborty, accused of complicity in suicide in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Lakshmi shared a note on Twitter demanding justice not only for Sushant but also for Rhea. Speaking of Rhea Chakraborty’s recent interview with India Today, she wrote: “I thought a lot about whether or not I should answer. I see so many people so quiet because the media has turned a girl into a monster. I don’t know the truth and I want to know the truth and I hope that the truth will come out in the most honest way. I have complete confidence in the judicial system and in all the agencies that are involved in bringing justice to Sushant. ”

He further added, “But until then we can restrain ourselves from being mean and cruel and lynching the person and their entire family without knowing the facts. I can only imagine the pain the whole family goes through with these so-called media trials. If something like this happened to me, I would like my colleagues to defend me, at least those who know me, to say back off, wait, leave her alone and I ask everyone to do the same. until the whole truth is officially published. It hurts what we have become. How are we being authentic if we don’t speak our hearts when we have a voice to lend? I am defending my colleague. ”

Reacting to Lakshmi’s post, Taapsee wrote: “I did not know Sushant on a personal level nor do I know Rhea, but what I do know is that it only takes a human being to understand how wrong it is to take the judiciary to convict someone who is not proven guilty. Trust the law of the land for your sanity and the sanctity of the deceased. “

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma also shared a video last week on why the media should stop a witch hunt against Rhea. He had said that the second-by-second media coverage of the case and passing a judgment on Rhea’s character without any credible evidence was nothing short of a witch hunt against the Jalebi actor.
