In a significant development in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, three sisters of the late actor met with the family’s lawyer, Vikas Singh, and a major revelation is likely, sources said. It is also reported that Vikas Singh will hold a press conference on Wednesday at 7pm on the ongoing investigation into the actor’s death where an important statement will be made.
Speaking to ANI, Varun Singh, who is the informant lawyer in the case, learned of the press conference and stated that the conference will bring clarity on the family’s position.
“To dispel rumors and bring some clarity on the position of the family and their case, Mr. Singh (lawyer for Sushant Singh Rajput’s father) will address the media today. Our FIR has nothing to do with the angle of drugs. We have not pressed it, “said Varun Singh.
This event also comes after the first defendant, Rhea Chakraborty, made a series of accusations against Sushant Singh Rajput’s family and slandered him in relation to drugs while handing herself a completely clean girl.

Sushant case probe
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his home in Mumbai ‘s Bandra on June 14. His death was initially claimed to be suicide and the Mumbai police autopsy report even indicated that there was no foul play. However, numerous lapses came to light when Republic TV investigated the case and Sushant’s father filed the first FIR accusing Sushant’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, of complicity in suicide. Shortly after, the Directorate of Enforcement registered a money laundering case and questioned Rhea and 4 other persons named in the FIR. ED’s investigation uncovered a narcotics angle to the case, with the Office of Narcotics Control recording another case in the matter, investigating the drug nexus in Bollywood and particularly with Rhea and Sushant.
Crucially, the Supreme Court approved an IWC investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case following a massive nationwide lawsuit for the same. The CBI team has pointed out technical and procedural flaws in the Mumbai police investigation and is also alongside a forensic team from AIIMS looking at the angle of the homicide. Republic TV’s own newscasts have vigorously challenged the suicide theory in the case and have also exposed profound inconsistencies and incongruities in the accounts of the key actors involved.
