The death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has been a major setback for the industry in many unfathomable ways and even more so, for his family, which includes his father and four older sisters. His older sister Meetu Singh has expressed his grief of losing his only brother through his Instagram stories on Friday with fan-made art. He shared a colorful drawing of Sushant and his mother, who had passed away in 2002, and captioned it with an emotional note.
Meetu Singh wrote that her mother was a “powerhouse” while her brother was her “pride” and lamented the fact that she “lost them too soon”. She further added that she is “unable to cope with this heartbreaking loss.”

Earlier this week, Sushant’s other sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, also took to her social media identifier to declare that she will be leaving social media for 10 days to ‘heal from pain’. On a heartfelt note, she wrote, “As much as you try to stay strong, but sometimes this strong pain takes over that Bhai is no longer there.” [sic]
She further said, “I have decided to take 10 days off from being online and immerse myself in deep meditation and prayers. I really need to heal from this pain.” [sic]

He has been at the forefront in the fight for justice for the late actor and has also actively started various social media campaigns as a tribute to his brother. Shweta has led many other initiatives, such as ‘Justice for Sushant’, ‘CBI for SSR’, ‘Global Prayers 4 SSR’, so that tributes keep coming to the late star. Sushant was found dead on June 14, 2020, under mysterious circumstances. The Central Bureau of Investigation has taken up the case with his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty as the main defendant.
